We are currently carrying out a range of surveys along the proposed route, including ecological and other wildlife surveys. This means you may see some people in the area using survey equipment.
Some surveys can only be carried out at specific times of the year. Our activity will be targeted so it takes place during the appropriate seasons.

Access to land parcels is agreed before any surveys take place. If you are a landowner and have questions about surveys on your land, please contact our Lands team by emailing [email protected], or by calling 0333 188 5375.
If you are an occupier of a potentially affected property, we also recommend you stay in touch with both our Lands team and the landowner. This will help make sure you're aware of any future survey activity that might be planned.
