On this page, you’ll find out how we can support you with incident response. Emergency situations are always challenging and difficult, but knowing there’s support systems and plans in place can make all the difference.

In the event of an emergency, we have specialist trained personnel to respond to and evaluate the incident. In addition, we hold an emergency stock of 132kV and 33kV oil-filled cables to be accessed in emergency events. Our response teams are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

This service is a 24 hours a day, 365 days a year emergency call-out. We provide you with appropriately authorised and trained National Grid electricity transmission personnel to respond to and evaluate faults or incidents on plant and equipment.  

Support is provided either remotely or by deployment of a stand-by person to the site.
