Community Grant Programme

National Grid Electricity Transmission runs a Community Grant Programme for areas affected by our work. If your community is impacted by the Pelham to Rayleigh Overhead Line Reinforcement, you may be able to apply for a grant of up to £10,000.

The grants are for community groups and charities where our construction or maintenance activities may affect local people (for example, overhead line refurbishment or substation works that can lead to road closures).

We can support social, economic and environmental projects, such as improving community facilities, helping people who are harder to reach, and education initiatives.

Find out more information on the Community Grant Programme, who can apply, and how to start your application by visiting the Community Grant Programme page.
