All existing pylons due to be removed in your area have now been removed

National Grid committed to removing 67 kilometres of existing 132,000 volt lattice pylons between Bridgwater and Avonmouth as part of the Hinkley Connection Project. We’ve removed 99 pylons between Bridgwater and Sandford, leaving part of Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty pylon free for the first time in almost 100 years.
