ALBANY, NY - National Grid’s eastern New York field force has restored power to 95 percent of the nearly 250,000 customers impacted by the severe storm that caused significant and widespread damage across the region Wednesday.

ALBANY, NY – National Grid’s Albany-area field force of more than 2,400 workers remains on the ground as they continue their around-the-clock cleanup and restoration efforts after a tornado, microburst, and winds of up to 100 mph swept through the region on Wednesday.

ALBANY, N.Y. - A National Grid eastern New York field force that has grown to more than 2,000 workers continues to make steady progress after sudden and severe storms swept across the region Wednesday bringing heavy rain and straight-line winds of up to 90 mph.

ALBANY, NY – National Grid is establishing three eastern New York locations for the distribution of dry ice for customers who are without electricity service as a result of the wind storm that swept across the region yesterday.

National Grid’s field force of line, tree, and service workers has successfully restored power to more than 96 percent of the nearly 45,000 customers impacted by the damaging wind and rain storms that moved across central New York Wednesday.

ALBANY, NY – More than 1,700 National Grid line, tree, and service workers in eastern New York continue to focus on public safety as they remove downed wires, trees, tree limbs, broken poles, and other hazards after a sudden and severe storm swept across the region yesterday.

A National Grid field force is active across eastern New York removing downed wires, trees, tree limbs, broken poles and other hazards, focusing on public safety, assessing damage and restoring power to the more than 160,000 customers impacted by the ongoing rain and wind storm.

National Grid’s field force of line, service, tree, damage assessment and public safety workers are cleaning up debris and restoring service to customers who lost power across portions of central New York after damaging storms swept through the region this afternoon.
