April 22, 2024 – Melville, NY – National Grid is celebrating Earth Day with a series of community service projects across Long Island designed to improve the environment, protect waterways and reduce waste.

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – National Grid employee volunteers have joined with partner organizations to improve neighborhood green spaces in the lead up to Earth Day, Monday, April 22.

BROOKLYN/MELVILLE, N.Y. – National Grid announced today that the company has reached an agreement on a three-year rate plan proposal in its ongoing rate case proceeding.

National Grid’s line, tree, and public safety specialists continue to face challenging weather and road conditions as they assess damage, clean up debris and restore power to customers impacted by another round of high winds and heavy, wet snow in Eastern New York.

National Grid’s expanded field force has worked around the clock to restore service to over 42,000 of the nearly 46,000 customers affected by the destructive wind and snow storm that struck Central New York this week.
