National Grid Receives Corporate Citizen of the Year Award (large business) from Long Island Business News
Earlier this month, National Grid received the Corporate Citizen of the Year Award (large business) from Long Island Business News.
The award was shared with PSEG-LI and VHB.
The awards recognize companies and individuals who believe that by being a good corporate citizen we contribute to the economic and social well-being of our employees, businesses and the community. Honorees consistently prove that true community stewardship evolves through building strong partnerships with nonprofit organizations and others that strive to meet the critical needs of our community.
Aaron Choo, National Grid’s Vice President of Gas Field Operations and Programs, accepted the award with other colleagues from the company.
“We’re committed to being a responsible business in everything we do – it’s part of our DNA,” said Aaron. “We strive to live up to our values every day – doing the right thing, finding a better way and making it happen.”
