National Grid to Highlight ‘Winter Heating’ Support during October Customer Assistance Events Across Massachusetts
WALTHAM, MA – National Grid remains committed to delivering energy savings for its customers statewide. During the lead-up to the winter heating season, the company is encouraging customers to act now to get help with winter bills by attending one of the many Customer Assistance events that will take place across Massachusetts during October. At these events, National Grid’s team of Advocates can help customers gain access to bill management options and energy-saving tips that can help manage energy costs throughout the year, as well as the process to apply for support through Home Energy Assistance Programs (HEAP).
“As we head into the winter heating season, we’re encouraging customers to act now and take advantage of the programs and resources available to help manage their energy bills,” said Bill Malee, Chief Customer Officer at National Grid. “Our statewide customer events provide the opportunity to speak one-on-one with a trained Advocate who can answer billing questions, explain programs like the Bundle, and check into eligibility for discount programs.”
