100 Club of Buffalo Scores Big

National Grid is grateful for the critical work that first responders do to keep our communities safe, which is why we’ve made a $10,000 donation to 100 Club of Buffalo through our partnership with the BuffaloBills and our Safety First campaign.

Every time a Bills Safety made a tackle this past season, National Grid made a $25 donation to 100 Club of Buffalo, which supports first responders and their families.

A portion of our donation will be used to support families who have lost a loved one in their line of duty. The remainder will fund scholarships for children of these workers and provide safety training programs for local police and fire departments.

And although the football season may be over, National Grid’s support of the 100 Club continues into hockey season. That's because the company is donating  $25 for every assist that the Buffalo Sabres register this season.

“National Grid appreciates the dedication of our first responders, and when the Sabres score, the Teamwork for Safety program will prompt a celebration that extends beyond the ice,” said National Grid Regional Director Ken Kujawa. “That’s because it recognizes the ultimate team players in our communities, those who selflessly and tirelessly step up and put the needs of others ahead of their own, each and every day.”
