Courtney Geduldig

Chief Corporate Affairs Officer

 

Career: Prior to joining National Grid in February 2024, Courtney served as President of Camden Global Partners and held corporate roles at S&P Global, Chime and Micron. Before this she was Managing Director and Head of Global and Federal Government Relations at the Financial Services Forum, including the Engage China Coalition partnership.

Courtney has also served as Chief Financial Counsel to Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) and played a key role in advising Senator Corker during and after the global financial crisis and in his work on the ‘Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act’.

Earlier in her career, Courtney held the Deputy Assistant Secretary position at the US Department of the Treasury, where she had responsibility for domestic finance issues including Terrorism and Financial Intelligence, capital and financial markets, housing policy and critical infrastructure for the continuity of financial markets.

Skills and Competencies: Courtney has more than 20 years’ experience in public policy, government, external affairs and public affairs globally. She has held strategic and managerial oversight of: global government relations; public policy; federal, state and local government affairs and advocacy; internal and external communications; corporate responsibility and community impact; stakeholder engagement; issue management; corporate brand; social and digital; in-house creative studios; and corporate events. She has led global teams in The Americas, Europe, Asia and India.

Courtney has a passion for supporting and sponsoring women in their careers, developing and mentoring the next generation of diverse talent in the public affairs field, and cultivating a positive environment for continued engagement for youth participation in athletics.   

She led the S&P Global Institute, an in-house thinktank, and chaired the S&P Global Foundation. Courtney holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. She is a published co-author of the book Where the Jobs Are: Entrepreneurship & the Soul of the American Economy
