Upskilling underrepresented groups in both the US and the UK ensures brighter futures for the next generation of our industry. The talent demand in the energy sector is not going away any time soon. Today's students will carry the torch for tomorrow.
In the US, we partnered with the Northland Workforce Training Center (Buffalo, NY) in a 6-year initiative that will educate and increase awareness of clean energy for more than 10,000 stakeholders and visitors while providing advanced manufacturing and clean energy training for more than 2500 candidates who are eager to enter the workforce.
In the UK, an annual fund supports grassroot organizations in our communities. Since 2021, we’ve funded more than 2,000 local groups delivering a range of projects, from workplace skills and employability workshops to community building retrofit and energy efficiency advice.
