The Possible Zone 2024 clean energy deep dive – empowering the next generation of clean energy leaders

Our partnership with The Possible Zone, a Boston based non-profit, supported the organization's Clean Energy Innovation Pathway. This is a multi-stage program providing experiences and opportunities for students to explore, engage, and pursue opportunities post-high school in the clean energy industry.

As part of their participation in the program, students took part in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) deep dives, a week-long course in clean energy, and the career exposure component where students attended panel discussions led by National Grid volunteers.  Students also had a career exposure site visit hosted at Data Drive, Waltham, MA.

Lynne Papetti from our US Social Impact team said:

“The program provided 78 under-resourced Boston high school students with the invaluable opportunity to explore, engage and ignite their interest in pursuing post-secondary education and career pathways in the clean energy industry.”
