National Grid and Syracuse University’s Office of Pre-College Programs have partnered to inspire the next generation of innovators through the National Grid Summer College Scholars Program.

For the 26th consecutive year, National Grid has been named a 2025 Tree Line USA utility by the Arbor Day Foundation, recognizing our commitment to proper urban tree management in our Massachusetts and New York service areas.

More than 2,500 line, service, tree, damage assessment and public safety workers are active across National Grid’s Mohawk Valley and Northern New York service areas after severe thunderstorms — with wind gusts up to 62 mph and rainfall exceeding three inches in some areas — impacted the region early Sunday morning.

National Grid commercial and industrial customers participating in the company’s Manufacturing Productivity Program created 165 new jobs and achieved nearly $1 million in energy savings in 2024.
