National Grid Wraps Up Successful Season of Giving on Long Island Through Project C Initiative

MELVILLE, NY – National Grid employees across Long Island concluded a highly impactful Season of Giving as part of the company’s annual Project C initiative. By partnering with local community organizations, they provided toys, coats, meals, and other essential donations to support neighbors in need. Project C is a corporate responsibility initiative that embodies National Grid’s commitment to the communities it serves.

Building Stronger Communities One Act of Kindness at a Time

The Season of Giving made a significant impact across Long Island through:

  • Toys: Donations to organizations such as New Hour for Women and Children, Catholic Health, Tri-CYA, and the John Theissen Children Foundation.
  • Meals: Food drives supporting Island Harvest, Feeding NY and the Long Beach Latino Civic Association.
  • Coats and Essentials: Distribution to Veterans with General Needs, foster children, and families through United Way of Long Island and other partners.
