National Grid project team donates projector and screen to support Stocking Pelham Village Hall

A new projector and screen will help expand the activities on offer at Stocking Pelham Village Hall, thanks to a donation from Murphy on behalf of National Grid.

The hall is at the heart of village life, hosting daily preschool sessions, parish council meetings and a wide range of social events. The donation will provide a practical benefit for the village hall for years to come, providing local groups access to equipment that will support meetings, events and activities, while helping the hall make the most of its facilities.

The projector was gifted at one of the project’s community meetings earlier this year, welcomed by members of the local community including Tony Southam at Stocking Pelham Parish Council and Chris Hinchliff, MP for North East Hertfordshire.

Ben Gadd, Lead Project Manager for Pelham, said:

Community spaces like Stocking Pelham Village Hall play an important role in bringing people together. We're delighted to be able to support the hall and the many groups that use it. We really hope the new equipment will  be well used and will help support events and activities.

The donation reflects the project’s commitment to supporting the communities where works are taking place, not only by delivering the infrastructure needed for the future, but also by making a positive contribution to local organisations and the people who rely on them.
