Penrhos Community Fund

National Grid has a long-standing commitment to the communities we work alongside, and we want to ensure lasting benefits for the people and places that host our infrastructure.

Our work on Penrhos substation means we will deliver a community fund of £530,000.

Shaped by the community, for the community, and developed in line with government guidance, this fund will be designed to reflect local needs and support projects that benefit local people into the future.

Help shape the community fund

We want to understand what’s most important to you and how the funding can make a positive, lasting impact.

Over the coming weeks, we are asking residents, community groups, and local representatives how they would like the fund to take shape. We will work collaboratively to ensure that the fund helps to deliver on:

  • Local priorities
  • Community aspirations
  • Projects that deliver long-lasting benefits
