The hall is at the heart of village life, hosting daily preschool sessions, parish council meetings and a wide range of social events. The donation will provide a practical benefit for the village hall for years to come, providing local groups access to equipment that will support meetings, events and activities, while helping the hall make the most of its facilities.

Working with members of the local community, the team helped improve the local landscape by removing  old barbed wire fencing that had become a hazard, clearing overgrown vegetation to restore the meadow, and cutting back hedgerows as part of wider habitat management.

A thunderstorm may have paused proceedings for a short time, but the team and local volunteers pulled together and continued their efforts throughout the afternoon, completing all the planned activities.
