COHOES, NY— A public meeting to discuss efforts to clean up a former manufactured gas plant (MGP) site located in the City of Cohoes, and owned by National Grid, will be held on Tuesday, August 31 at 7 p.m.

WALTHAM, MA – Roughly 24 hours after Tropical Storm Henri hit New England, pummeling the region with heavy rain and winds that toppled entire trees and took down power lines, thousands of National Grid employees and contractors are focused on clean-up and restoration.

WALTHAM, MA – National Grid has nearly 4,000 field personnel in Rhode Island and Massachusetts responding to power outages caused by downed limbs, trees, and poles resulting from Tropical Storm Henri.

Brooklyn and Hicksville, New York – National Grid has activated its emergency response plan – including increasing staffing, mobilizing and pre-staging crews and extending work shifts – in preparation for Hurricane Henri’s potential impact on New York City and Long Island.
