We are also holding in-person public information events and webinars where you can learn more about our proposals, and paper copies of key consultation materials are available at local information points along the project route. How to provide feedback on our proposals
The easiest way to give your feedback on our plans is by completing our online feedback form.
To share feedback on other National Grid Electricity Transmission projects that are currently holding consultations, please visit the relevant project website for details on how to have your say.
You can give your feedback by:
- emailing your comments to [email protected]
- completing a paper feedback form and sending it to Freepost EGL 5
- Writing a letter and sending it to Freepost EGL 5
The deadline for providing feedback is 11:59pm Monday 23 June 2025.
All responses, except postal, to the consultation must be received before the consultation close. P
Public information events
Throughout the consultation we are holding a series of face-to-face events. At these public information events we will present information about our proposals and members of the project team will be available to answer any questions that you have. You will also be able to view copies of our maps and technical documents. There is no need to register for our public information events; you only need to turn up on the day.
EGL 3 and EGL 4 public information events
The public information events at Huttoft and Alford will also provide information on NGET’s separate proposals for EGL 3 and EGL 4.

Webinars
At each online webinar session, we will present our proposals and hold an open question and answer session. You can register to attend a webinar by following the links below.
We will be holding two joint webinars with EGL 3 and EGL 4, focusing on our proposed onshore infrastructure in England and our proposed offshore infrastructure in English waters.

Local information points
Paper copies of key consultation materials (our Stage 1 consultation document, Consultation newsletter and Feedback form) are available to take away from the below locations. Reference copies of our Strategic options report, Corridor preliminary routeing and siting study report (CPRSS), Marine options appraisal report and non-technical summary of the Marine options appraisal report are also available at these locations.
Local information point opening hours can be subject to change. Please check with the relevant venue for the most up to date opening hours.
Both local information points at Alford Library and Focal Point, and Skegness Library, are also able to provide information on NGET’s separate proposals for EGL 3 and EGL 4.

To help us set up the session and find the right project team member(s), please tell us your preferred availability and question/topic of interest.
'Team call-backs' will be running for the duration of the consultation period and provide any opportunity to learn more about our proposals for EGL 5.
