Elaine Lin

Elaine joined the NGP Innovation team in March 2020. She leads the Innovation Performance and Reporting team to implement a global reporting function which will provide a picture of our innovation activities across the business units.

Elaine has been with National Grid for 11 years and held several positions within the core U.S. business, including Project Management, Complex Construction and Safety Health & Environmental. Most recently, she was the Executive Advisor to Peggy Smyth, National Grid U.S. CFO. Elaine has a wealth of knowledge and experience in budget planning and forecasting, program management, and process improvements.

She is a strategic partner to many leaders and has proven her skills to integrate into and work with teams effectively. In addition, Elaine is actively engaged in the employee resource group (ERG) activities. From 2012 to 2014, Elaine led the Asian Leadership Association ERG in promoting inclusion and diversity as well as cultural awareness. Currently, she is the advisor to the Enabling ERG where she helps the board members to focus on raising awareness of physical and mental disability.

Elaine moved from Taiwan to US to attend graduate school at Boston University where she earned a Master’s degree in Economics. She enjoys traveling and her goal is to visit all seven continents. Elaine lives in Boston with her dog Ollie.
