At the start of a pivotal decade in the struggle to combat climate change, National Grid has commissioned a report exploring the skills we need to help turn the UK’s ambition to become the world’s first net zero economy by 2050 into a reality.

Committed to fighting climate change, Laura Rainey, 31, chose to take an MSc in Carbon Management. Now Senior Project Manager for Electric Vehicles at National Grid, she’s working on ways we can enhance and develop the electric vehicle charging network, to encourage more of us to switch from petrol and diesel vehicles.
