22nd June 2023National Grid Ventures Celebrates NYISO Selection of Propel NY Energy Transmission Project
The Propel NY Energy transmission solution today announced that their proposed approximate 90-mile electric transmission project was selected by the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) to achieve the Long Island Offshore Wind Export Public Policy Transmission Need Project Solicitation. Propel NY Energy is owned by The New York Power Authority (NYPA) and New York Transco (NY Transco), a joint venture between National Grid Ventures, Avangrid, Central Hudson, and Con Edison.
