Traffic management measures on the A134 between 28 August and 5 September
Since our development consent order for the Bramford to Twinstead Reinforcement was granted, we have been carrying out preparatory works ahead of main construction. As part of this, we need to deliver site cabins to support the establishment of the main construction compound near Leavenheath (CO10 5LX).
To ensure the safety of our workforce and the public while this work is carried out, traffic management measures will be in place between 28 August and 5 September 2025 (excluding 3 September 2025, when the British Tour will be taking place) between the hours of 09:30 to 15:00. The work will be carried out by Balfour Beatty on behalf of National Grid.
During these periods, temporary traffic lights will be in place to support safe access to the site. Advance warning signs will be displayed, and the work area will be clearly marked with cones and barriers.
We understand that our work may cause some disruption to your journey and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Our teams will work to complete these activities as efficiently and safely as possible.
