National Grid’s upstate New York field force of more than 3,200 workers has restored service to more than 80,000 of the 91,500 customers impacted by the destructive winter storm that affected Eastern and Northern New York on Friday.

Hundreds of National Grid workers remain active in challenging winter weather conditions as they evaluate and repair damage and restore service after a severe winter storm brought heavy, wet snow to areas of eastern and Northern New York overnight.
