WALTHAM, MA - As small business customers struggled with high costs and inflation earlier this year, National Grid made an ongoing commitment to support their commercial customers, launching a program to provide grants to small businesses across Massachusetts.

WALTHAM, MA – National Grid today announced the summer continuation of three workforce development academies, building off of its successful launch of its strategic Workforce Development Program earlier this year, which has already resulted in nearly a dozen individuals securing a job with National Grid or one of its contractors.

In an effort to support communities across New Jersey this summer, Community Offshore Wind partnered with 10 hunger relief organizations across the state to distribute more than 60,000 meals of fresh, locally-sourced seafood to families in need.

The Propel NY Energy transmission solution today announced that their proposed approximate 90-mile electric transmission project was selected by the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) to achieve the Long Island Offshore Wind Export Public Policy Transmission Need Project Solicitation. Propel NY Energy is owned by The New York Power Authority (NYPA) and New York Transco (NY Transco), a joint venture between National Grid Ventures, Avangrid, Central Hudson, and Con Edison.
