ROME, N.Y. — Dozens of Rome children will return to school this fall with new school supplies and fresh haircuts thanks to a recent event by the NAACP Rome Branch that was funded, in part, by National Grid.

TICONDEROGA, N.Y. — Ticonderoga is one of the many jewels in New York’s Adirondack Park and, along with increasing investments in the electric transmission infrastructure that serves the area, National Grid is supporting the economic growth and vitality in the region by awarding more than $400,000 in grants to several growing businesses while helping long-time businesses transition to new ownership.

New Hour was founded to provide support to current and formerly incarcerated women, their children, and families.

Earlier today Community Services for Every1 thanked National Grid for providing $10,000 to allow the agency to extend its Easy Eats Culinary Camps into 2024.

Earlier today United Way of Buffalo and Erie County thanked National Grid for making a positive community impact following the December 2022 blizzard.

National Grid encourages its customers to be vigilant and protect their personal information, as reports of utility billing and payment scams increase across upstate New York.
