National Grid employees in the Greater Capital Region of NY spent Thursday this week cleaning up Schenectady Central Park in recognition of Earth Day.

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – As part of the National Work Zone Awareness Week, April 17 – 21, National Grid joined NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) Commissioner Ydanis Rodriguez, alongside NYC Department of Design and Construction, the NYC Department of Environmental Protection, the General Contractors Association of New York, and others for a press event on the importance of ensuring work zone safety for those people who work tirelessly to ensure the integrity and reliability for the New York Metro area and statewide infrastructure of streets, bridges, and highways.
