Traffic management measures in Pebmarsh on 15 December 2025
Since our development consent order for the Bramford to Twinstead Reinforcement was granted, we have been carrying out preparatory works ahead of main construction along the project route. As part of this, we need to remove two excavators that have been on site for archaeology works. This will take place at Twinstead Road, Pebmarsh (what3words: blemishes.retiring.trail) and at Cately Cross, Pebmarsh (what3words: sprinkler.verge.flying).
To ensure the safety of our workforce and the public while this work is carried out, we will need to pause traffic for 15 minutes, at some point between the hours of 08:00 to 17:30 on 15 December. The work will be carried out by Balfour Beatty, on behalf of National Grid. Advance warning signs will be displayed, and the work area will be clearly marked with cones and barriers.
