Traffic management measures on Haley Lane between 9 and 13 October
Since our Development Consent Order for the Bramford to Twinstead Reinforcement was granted, we have been carrying out preparatory works ahead of main construction. The next stage of this work includes vegetation clearance, which ensures that our team and vehicles can use local roads safely and main construction can begin.
To ensure the safety of our workforce and the public while this is carried out, traffic management measures are expected to be in place between 9 and 13 October 2025. These will operate between 08:00 and 17:30. Outside of these hours, the traffic management will be removed. The work will be carried out by Balfour Beatty, on behalf of National Grid.

During the times outlined above, we may occasionally pause traffic for periods of up to two minutes to enable our team to safely move construction machinery and ensure the working area is safe for vehicles to pass.
