Traffic management measures on the A134 on 22 August
Since our development consent order for the Bramford to Twinstead Reinforcement was granted, we have been carrying out preparatory works ahead of main construction.
As part of this, we need to clear vegetation at the site of our main construction compound near Leavenheath, CO10 5LX.
To ensure the safety of our workforce and the public while this is carried out, traffic management measures will be in place on 22 August 2025 between 09:30 and 15:00. The work will be carried out by Balfour Beatty on behalf of National Grid.
During this period, temporary traffic lights will be in place to support safe working. Advance warning signs will be displayed, and the work area will be clearly marked with cones and barriers.
We understand that our work may cause some disruption to your journey, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Our teams will work to complete these activities as efficiently and safely as possible to minimise the impact on road users.
