Traffic management measures on the A134 on 15 August

Since our development consent order for the Bramford to Twinstead Reinforcement was granted, we have been carrying out preparatory works ahead of main construction.

As part of this, we need to clear vegetation at our compound site.

To ensure the safety of our workforce and the public while this is carried out, traffic management measures will be in place on Friday 15 August between 09:30 and 15:00. The work will be carried out on our behalf by our contractor, Balfour Beatty.

During this period, the road will be reduced to a single lane on a section of the A134 between the B1068 and Marshalls Green junctions (What3Words: appraised.purple.bowhead). Traffic will be controlled by temporary two-way signals, which will ensure vehicles from each direction can proceed safely. Advance warning signs will be in place, and the work area, on the south side of the road, will be clearly marked with cones and barriers.
