Separating the Electricity System Operator (ESO) from Electricity Transmission (ET)

On 1 April 2019 Electricity Transmission became a legally separate company within the National Grid Group.

National Grid Electricity Transmission (ET) and the Electricity System Operator (ESO) are now separate businesses, operating within the National Grid group. We want to be your trusted energy partner. Separation from ESO allows ET to offer you bespoke, competitive solutions to fit your needs.

We'll work together with you, to help you make informed choices about what is right for your business.
