Our charging statement

Our charging statement sets out the charging methodology for us to cost up your connection and charge for it to National Grid ESO. It provides examples and associated costs, details of our fees for applying for a connection offer and the commercial principles behind our charges.

The statement is produced by National Grid Electricity Transmission plc (NGET) as the Transmission Owner (TO) for England and Wales, and sets out the basis of charges for the provision of transmission services to the ESO (as specified in the System Operator Transmission Owner Code (STC)) and, where relevant, charges made to other parties directly contracted with NGET.
