We appreciate that the application form is technical and complicated. This is because there are many stages to the connections process which require a lot of research and clarification.
To help you fill in the form, we’ve produced an application guide to help you understand the various requirements, plus the acronyms and terminology we use. This guide should also help you to decide which application is most suited to you.
Once you’ve completed your application form, you submit it to the ESO (National Grid Electricity System Operator), along with your application fee. Once the ESO receive your application they will work with us, the transmission owner to develop your connection offer.
