Stage 2 consultation

Have your say

You can find all the documents we have published as part of the Stage 2 consultation by visiting our Document library

We are holding nine in-person public information events and eight online webinar sessions via Microsoft Teams where you can learn more about our proposals, and copies of consultation materials are available at local information points along the proposed route. Details of each are listed below.

How to respond to our consultation

You can provide feedback on our proposals by completing the online feedback form.

Online feedback form

You can also respond in the following ways:

  • email – send feedback to [email protected];
  • letter – write to us at FREEPOST NATIONAL GRID PROJECTS (JBP) no stamp or further address is required; or
  • paper feedback form – pick up a paper form from any of our public information events or local information points. Alternatively, contact us to be sent one in the post. You can also download and print a copy of our feedback form here and return it using the Freepost address above.

Important: To avoid any misinterpretation and ensure we have an accurate record of what we have received, we normally only accept written feedback via the methods set out. If for any reason someone is unable to provide written feedback, we may be able to take feedback over the phone. This will be decided on a case-by-case basis. You are welcome to call our community relations line on 0800 073 1047 if you need any assistance in providing feedback.

Your comments must be received by 11:59pm on Tuesday 28 April 2026.

Supporting local communities

We believe communities which host new electricity infrastructure should benefit from doing so. Millions of pounds will be available to benefit local communities and the wider area from projects such as this.

Across the region, we will build partnerships and invest in skills and employment opportunities, and we are interested in your views on how this funding should be spent.

Tell us your views by filling out our Community Benefit Survey.

Public information events

We are holding nine in-person public information events, which will include information about our proposals and hold copies of maps and technical documents.

Members of the Project team will be available to explain our proposals and answer your questions.

There is no need to register; you can turn up at any time on the day.
