When we’re working on the highways, our contractors need to manage the traffic to keep everyone safe. This will involve using temporary ‘stop/go’ boards, traffic lights and some short-term road closures.
Our contractors put up advance notice signs to let local road users know of any traffic restrictions and road closures.
We have agreed the following timings with the local highway authority.
Location | Duration | Description of works | Traffic Management in place | Map |
Weston Road (A370) | 7 November to 4 December 2025 | Reinstatement works involving the removal of a temporary access point on the A370 Weston Road to restore the area to its original condition. Please note, all timings are subject to change encourage you to check the information on this page regularly for updates. | Three-way traffic signals will be in operation 24 hours a day from 7 November to 4 December 2025. Our contractors will be working onsite during the hours of 7:30am and 5:00pm each day. The traffic management is located in close proximity to Moorland Park bus stops, resulting in their suspension for the duration of these works. The adjacent pedestrian footpath will be closed from 3 November to 28 November, with Traffic Management Operatives present during working hours. Please note there will be no diversion in place for the footpath closure. | View map |
