Since non-statutory consultation closed, we have been continuing to work on developing the project from our indicative ‘graduated swathes’ into more refined proposals. This process is informed by considering feedback received during public consultation, input from specialist stakeholders, the outcomes of various environmental and engineering surveys, and ongoing engineering & design development.

We will present the detail of our refined proposals, and seek further feedback, during a statutory consultation that we plan to hold in later this year. We will also publish detail at that stage of the feedback received at non-statutory consultation, and how we have had regard to it.

In the meantime, we are holding targeted conversations with local authorities and other key stakeholders, and we continue to engage with landowners to discuss access for intrusive and non-intrusive surveys.
