Working as an integral member of our maintenance and delivery team, you’ll carry out a planned programme of work across several substations sites; ensuring that all maintenance and repairs are carried out in a safe, cost effective and timely manner. Your proactive approach to fault investigation and analysis will deliver results and help to keep all programmes of work on track.  

With a BTEC National or ONC qualification in an engineering discipline and a full driving licence. You will have a broad range of experience in substations work and/or HV cable systems, combined with an in-depth knowledge of the electrical and safety aspects of substation plant and environmental awareness.  Aside from these purely technical skills, you will be an excellent team worker.
