POWERFUL POTENTIAL
National Grid is the largest utility in the UK and the second largest utility in the US. We play a vital role in delivering gas and electricity to many millions of people across Great Britain and the Northeast US in an efficient, reliable and safe manner.
The Energy Operations Team at Wokingham is responsible for the delivery of forecasts, analysis and tools that contribute to the secure and efficient electricity system operation. Our work involves electricity trading, demand and wind forecasting, generation analysis, and the commercial assessment of capacity contracts.
We currently have vacancies for a variety of business analyst roles, in the areas of demand and wind forcasting, and commercial assessment of contracts.
You will have a degree in a numerical discipline (such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or Engineering) and ideally, you will have at least two years experience in the energy industry, preferably in the electricity sector.
