Your words and pictures could win £200 of prizes

Gridline photo competition

We asked grantors for their best pictures on the theme of Bouncing Back, so when we saw Anne-Marie Mook’s shot of her ewes and looked closer there could only be one winner. The young lady on the far left in her field in Flaxton, North Yorkshire, couldn’t be happier that lockdown looks like soon being a distant memory.

Her amazing smiling sheep shot earned her £150 in shopping vouchers, and now it could be your turn to win. Simply send us your shots around a ‘Summertime’ theme in landscape format, and we’ll pick the best for a prize as well as featuring them in the next edition.

Given half a chance our grantors are a talented bunch when it comes to appreciating the countryside around them. So we thought we'd share a selection of some of the best photo competition entries we've received.

Caption competition

Our Gridline photographer’s shot of cattle taking a wander under a bridge is your inspiration for the next £50 caption competition.

Simply come up with a humorous dialogue, witty one-liner or seaside postcard-style caption and the best entry will collect a high street shopping voucher of their choice.
