PMC conducts pipeline repairs on a full range of pipe diameters and materials, across all pressure ranges. Initially our skilled technicians carry out an on-site assessment of any suspected defect, and our assessors then calculate the extent of the damage and make recommendations.
We manufacture epoxy sleeves quickly, to your pipeline specification. These permanent epoxy-sleeve repairs are suitable for non-leaking pipeline defects such as dents, gouges, weld defects, corrosion or a combination of these. They do not require welding, which minimises risk and allows us to manage the repair without gas interruption - though most cases will require a pressure reduction. In most instances, the repaired area is stronger than before.
We have also developed a technique to repair leaking end-seals on nitrogen sleeves at road crossings and similar.
Our work includes:
- Epoxy sleeves - suitable on pipes from 9/16 inch to 48 inch. We use sleeves for both planned and emergency works, to repair defects discovered following in-line inspections or after a P11 or P20 inspection.
- Epoxy tees - we can install epoxy tees from 2 inches to 48 inches with various off-takes, in planned and emergency works, along with our drilling and stopping operations.
- Repair clamps - we stock the full range of PLIDCO clamps for use on emergency or planned works.
