Sam currently works in Business Development at Johnson Matthey leading the strategy and programme in Clean Hydrogen generation at scale.
Previous roles at Johnson Matthey have included Technology Manager for the Steam Reforming catalyst and technology R&D team. After moving from R&D into Business Development he was tasked with developing a portfolio of new opportunities for processes from new feedstocks, such as biomass, waste and renewable energy.
Over the last few years Sam has worked frequently with Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), recently being part of the CCUS Cost Cutting Taskforce, providing guidance on the role different technologies could play in our overall decarbonisation pathway
