Marcus Newborough
Marcus Newborough is the Development Director at ITM Power.
Marcus’s current work at ITM Power, a British manufacturer of PEM electrolysers and hydrogen systems based on water electrolysis, is focused on the analysis of existing and new electrolyser applications, hydrogen system design requirements for business development opportunities and demonstration projects, and the development of electrolyser products.
Marcus has substantial industrial experience in electrolyser product development for power-to-gas systems and hydrogen refuelling stations, and substantial academic experience in energy systems and energy utilisation research (publishing over 100 scientific papers on micro-generation, hydrogen energy systems and demand side management).
Previously Marcus was Professor of Energy Systems at Cranfield and Heriot-Watt Universities.
