In working with other companies we are pleased to pass on our successful experience and help them tap into a skilled motivated workforce. There is also the wider financial benefit; the cost of crime to the taxpayer is over £235,000 for every person who returns to prison. National Grid and our partner companies are saving the community £17.4 million for every 100 offenders helped by the Programme. We now have over 1000 offenders successfully through the Programme.”
