Bishops Wood Environment Centre, which is supported by National Grid and based at the company’s electricity substation near Stourport, is inviting visitors to embark on a Celtic Quest when it opens its doors to the public on Sunday 8 November.
From 2pm to 4.30pm, visitors to the centre can explore Celtic beliefs, learn to make shelters, charcoal and quest sticks.
John Rhymer, Head of the award-winning Environment Centre, says: “Our history programmes at Bishops Wood are always popular, and this event will give parents the chance to share an adventure with their children and try some of the wonderful hands-on activities that Bishops Wood is famous for. Woad is optional!"
The Centre is located at Crossway Green, Stourport, Worcestershire, DY13 9SE. Advanced booking for the Celtic quest is essential: to reserve a place please phone 01299 250513.
