Dear Resident

I would like to apologise for the inconvenience and disruption caused by the recent loss of your gas supply.

The incident was caused by a burst water main belonging to Thames Water. As a result of this, water entered our gas system and for safety reasons it was necessary to turn off your gas supply.

It is very important you do not try to use your gas while our engineers are dealing with this emergency...
