Lane restrictions – Wilford Street, Nottingham

23/07/2009

Gas pipeline operator National Grid is advising road users that there will be no left turn into Wilford Street from Canal Street, Nottingham, for four weeks from Monday 27 July to Sunday 9th August, whilst a new gas pipe is laid.

There will be lane restrictions on Canal Street and Wilford Street whilst engineers complete the project to lay the new pipe in the road.   A diversion will be in place along Castle Boulevard, Castle Bridge Road, Queens Drive and Wilford Drive.

Gas supplies will not be affected by this work.

National Grid apologies for any inconvenience the project may cause and asks that road users are patient and work with us, so that we can ensure the gas pipe is laid as quickly and safely as possible.
