Interruption Procedure

  • Transporter informs shippers of the need to interrupt
  • Shippers/suppliers contact their interruptible customers
  • Shippers confirm with Transporter that interruption has taken place
  • Transporter informs shippers of restoration

 

Failure to Interrupt

If following a formal request a consumer fails to interrupt they  may be:

  • Disconnected
  • Face Financial implications
  • Be issued with a Safety warning

 

Consumer Obligations

  • Must be able to effect interruption
  • Provide shippers/suppliers with correct contact information
