xoserve will be undertaking the annual Gemini Disaster Recovery testing this weekend (18 and 19 October2008).

As a direct result of the above, the Gemini service will be unavailable for the following hours:

Saturday 18 October – 04:15 to 10:15
Sunday 19 October – 04:00 to 10:00

Throughout each outage, National Grid will issue hourly ANS updates to the community with the latest System Status Information (Demand and Linepack). In addition, the ANS will be utilised to communicate any change in outage timelines, if applicable.

Due to this essential testing, there will be a loss of service to the publication of the following set of reports:

*NB05:

06:30 to 09:30 hour bars reports applicable for 18 and 19 October 2008

*DASW:

Report Applicable for 18 October 2008 and 06:15 to 09:15 hour bars reports applicable for 19 October 2008

*NORD07:

Reports Applicable for 17 and 18 October 2008

*DASD: 

Reports Applicable for 17 and 18 October 2008

Subject to the return of service to planned timescales, the first Entry Capacity auctions will be run at 11:00 on both days. Please note that upon completion of the testing, Shipper access to the Gemini service will not be affected. As a result, Gemini access should be gained using the normal operational access route following each outage period.
