I want to order a new gas service

Your work is standard domestic if the following statements are true:

  • Your property is or will be used mainly as a domestic private residence (e.g. house, flat, bungalow etc), and/or
  • You are applying for a single new service or up to a maximum of 4 new services, and/or
  • Your property does not already have a live service, and/or
  • You require a service for a property in a building that has been divided into separate registered properties e.g. flats, and/or
  • You want your gas meter position to be in the basement, on the ground floor, or on the first floor (no greater than 3m above the ground), and/or 
  • You have the end user names for all of the properties, and/or
  • The private land between where you want your meter and your property boundary nearest the street is no more than 40 metres.

Your work is non-standard (requiring the pre-payment of a Quotation Charge) if your request does not apply under standard domestic criteria (above) and/or:

  • Your property is mainly used for business, commercial or industrial use (includes churches, residential homes, offices, factories, restaurants and shops) 
  • You want your gas meter position to be more than 3m from the ground or above first floor.
  • You are applying for more than 4 domestic properties.
  • You do not have the end user names for the new services.
  • The private land between where you want your meter and your property boundary nearest the street is greater than 40 metres.

Producing you a quotation is subject to a non-refundable Quotation Charge. You can only apply and pay online for the Quotation Charge. You will only receive a quotation for this work once you have submitted, accepted and paid for this quotation charge order.
